Product Details
The ultrafiltration membrane for wastewater treatment HM200 is a high-performance PVDF hollow fiber membrane module designed for efficient solid-liquid separation, wastewater reuse, and RO pretreatment applications.
PVDF material – PVDF tolerates regular sodium hypochlorite cleaning and a wide pH range during recovery washes. Compared to PVC or PAN, PVDF has higher elongation at break, which reduces fiber breakage under frequent backwash and air scouring. This is a key advantage for wastewater streams with high fouling potential.
Filtration mode – The HM200 supports both dead-end and cross-flow operation. Cross-flow mode is recommended for feed water with higher suspended solids to reduce membrane surface fouling and maintain stable performance.
Construction – Fiber inner/outer diameter is 1.0/1.6 mm. Effective membrane area is 25 m² per module. Standard connection is DN50. Dry weight is approximately 18 kg. All dimensional data are listed in the specification table below.

Advantages for Wastewater Applications
The ultrafiltration membrane for wastewater treatment is specifically designed to handle the toughest wastewater streams. Its superior chemical resistance means it retains mechanical strength even after repeated chlorine exposures, where PVC or PAN would degrade. For oily or high-COD wastewater, this translates to a significantly longer service life. Each module is subjected to rigorous quality control, including pressure and bubble point tests, and features reinforced fiber roots with secondary potting to prevent breakage. Our production is ISO 9001 certified.
We also offer a high degree of customization. OEM projects can be accommodated with custom end seals (epoxy or polyurethane), specialized connection types, and varied module lengths. Private labeling and adjustments to packing density are also available upon request for bulk orders.

FAQ
1. Is the HM200 only available in PVDF?
No. It can also be supplied with PVC or APAN at a lower cost. For industrial wastewater containing oil, solvents, or requiring frequent chemical cleaning, the PVDF version is recommended.
2. LONG vs SHORT – how to choose?
Choose based on your existing rack height. The LONG version has an L2 of 1465 mm; the SHORT has an L2 of 1405 mm. Both have the same membrane area (25 m²). Most standard 40‑inch housings accept the LONG version.
3. Can the HM200 be used in an MBR process?
The ultrafiltration membrane for wastewater treatment HM200 is designed for conventional UF systems. For submerged MBR, a lower flux and air scouring are required. Contact our engineers for a specific MBR configuration.
4. When should the module be replaced?
Replace when TMP cannot be restored to baseline after standard cleaning, or when permeate SDI consistently exceeds 3, or when fiber breakage exceeds 5% per module.
5. Can I get a single HM200 for on‑site testing?
Yes. Pilot testing with one HM200 module is available. Provide a raw water analysis (COD, SS, oil, pH, etc.). Our engineers will prepare a test protocol. Test duration is typically 4–6 weeks.
