This power plant water treatment project in Saudi Arabia features a large-scale membrane filtration system supplied by HUAMO GROUP. The system integrates UF pretreatment, double-pass reverse osmosis (RO), and concentrate reverse osmosis (ROR) technologies to provide high-quality water for power generation applications.
The project includes 256 units of HUAMO UF-2880 ultrafiltration membranes, configured in 4 parallel trains with a total capacity of 1,200 m³/h. During commissioning, the UF system achieved excellent filtration performance with product water turbidity reaching 0.02 NTU.
The RO system consists of 2-stage reverse osmosis and concentrate RO units, with a total installation of 2,220 RO membrane elements. The first-stage RO system achieved a stable production capacity of 275 m³/h per train with a desalination rate of 99.3%, ensuring reliable water quality for industrial power applications.
The successful operation of this large-scale membrane system demonstrates HUAMO's capability in providing integrated UF and RO solutions for global power plants, supporting efficient water management and sustainable energy production.
