This project was developed for a large thermal power plant to upgrade its existing ultra-pure water production system. The original system was equipped with imported EDI modules and had been operating for many years to provide high-quality water for power generation processes.
HUAMO provided a professional EDI replacement solution, upgrading the existing system with advanced EDI modules to ensure continuous and stable operation. The project includes 2 EDI trains with a total production capacity of 126 m³/h, replacing the original imported EDI units.
The EDI system works together with ultrafiltration and double-pass reverse osmosis pretreatment processes, delivering reliable demineralized water quality for boiler and plant operation.
Through the membrane replacement project, the customer achieved improved system reliability, reduced maintenance requirements, and extended the service life of the existing water treatment facility.
