Product Details
The industrial PVDF hollow fiber membrane UF2880 contains thousands of reinforced PVDF hollow fibers potted in a UPVC housing with epoxy resin. Filtration occurs from outside to inside. Suspended solids, bacteria, and colloids are retained on the fiber surface. Permeate collects inside the fiber lumen and exits through the end ports.
The industrial PVDF hollow fiber membrane operates in either cross‑flow or dead‑end mode. Routine backwash with permeate at 0.25 MPa is performed every 30–60 minutes to remove accumulated solids from the fiber surface. An air flush can be applied during backwash to enhance cleaning efficiency. PVDF material provides high mechanical strength (≥200 N longitudinal strength) and excellent resistance to chlorine and a wide pH range, enabling aggressive chemical cleaning when fouling occurs.
