Product Details
This 250 LPH RO-EDI system delivers high-purity water through a fully integrated pretreatment, two-stage reverse osmosis, and chemical-free EDI polishing process, all managed by an automated PLC control system.Pre‑treatment 250 LPH Ro Edi Water System– A feed pump sends raw water through two FRP vessels (sand then carbon). Each has an automatic backwash valve. A security filter with cartridges protects the RO membranes.
Two‑stage RO – First stage: one pump feeding two RO membranes. Second stage: a second pump feeding one RO membrane. Second stage concentrate returns to first stage feed. Conductivity is measured at three points.
EDI polishing – RO permeate goes through a second security filter (pleated cartridges) then an EDI module. DC current removes ions – no chemicals. Resistivity is monitored online. A UV sterilizer is included.
Control – PLC with touch screen controls all pumps and valves. Float switches and pressure switches automate start/stop. User supplies product water tank.

250 LPH Ro Edi Water System's Advantages
- Low capital entry point – FRP pre‑treatment vessels and PVC piping reduce upfront cost compared to all‑stainless designs, making this system ideal for budget‑conscious laboratories or pilot plants. The user‑supplied product tank further lowers the initial package price.
- Reliable EDI with high recovery – The Clayson LX‑250 module operates at 90‑95% recovery, minimizing waste water discharge. Its 0‑6 A working current range provides flexible adjustment to match feed conductivity fluctuations, ensuring stable 18 MΩ·cm output without chemical handling.
FAQ
1. What feed water quality does this system require?
Municipal water with SDI <5, turbidity <1 NTU, iron <0.1 ppm, free chlorine <0.1 ppm. No softener is included. If feed hardness exceeds 100 ppm as CaCO₃, a separate softener must be added.
2. How often are RO membranes and the EDI module replaced?
RO membranes: 2–4 years depending on feed water. EDI module: 5–8 years. UV lamp: replace after 8000–9000 hours.
3. Does the 250 LPH Ro Edi Water System include a product water tank?
No. The tank is user‑supplied. The system includes float switches for automatic fill control. A stainless steel or polyethylene tank is recommended.
4. Is installation support provided?
Yes. A P&ID, electrical schematic, and user manual are included. Remote start‑up via video call is provided free of charge. On‑site commissioning is available at extra cost.
5. Can the system be scaled to 500 LPH?
Yes. The same design can be scaled by adding more RO membranes and a larger EDI module (e.g., KXA‑100). Contact us for a custom quote.
