EDI (Continuous Electrodialysis) modules are pure water production systems that integrate electrodialysis and ion exchange technologies. Their core technology utilizes alternating cation and anion exchange membranes to form desalination and concentration chambers. Driven by a DC electric field, this allows for the directional migration and removal of ions from the water. Simultaneously, the hydrogen and hydroxide ions generated by water dissociation enable continuous electrochemical regeneration of the resin, eliminating the need for traditional acid and alkali chemical reagents.

This technology offers advantages such as zero pollution discharge, fully automated operation, and stable and controllable water quality. It can produce ultrapure water with a resistivity of 15-18 MΩ·cm and is widely used in industries such as power, electronics, medical, and chemical processing.
