Reverse osmosis (RO) is a technology that uses selective semi-permeable membranes for liquid separation. Its core principle is that water is forced through a reverse osmosis membrane under pressure, while dissolved salts, organic matter, colloids, microorganisms, and other impurities are intercepted by the membrane, thus purifying the water. This process is similar to a highly precise filtration, effectively reducing the total dissolved solids (TDS) content in water.

ROS systems have a wide range of applications. In industry, it is an indispensable part of many production processes. For example, in the electronics industry, the production and cleaning of chips and integrated circuit boards require ultrapure water with extremely high purity. Even the smallest impurities can affect product performance, and RO is a key step in preparing this ultrapure water. In the power industry, boiler feedwater undergoes extensive purification to prevent scaling and corrosion, ensuring the safe and stable operation of power generation equipment; RO provides reliable water pretreatment for this purpose. The food and beverage industry also relies on RO technology to obtain pure raw material water, ensuring consistent product taste and quality.
