Operating Procedures and Maintenance for Large RO Equipment

 

Large reverse osmosis systems used in industrial environments are typically connected to continuous production processes, meaning that operating stability is often more important than short-term output capacity alone. Before startup, operators generally perform a full inspection of pretreatment units, including sand filtration vessels, activated carbon tanks, dosing pipelines, cartridge filters, and inlet valves. Electrical cabinets, pressure sensors, conductivity meters, and flow switches should also be checked to confirm communication and control signals remain normal before the high-pressure section is activated.
